About

AdunaKids Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 Personal Empowerment Program, founded in 2021, and based in San Francisco, CA.  We are dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by helping underprivileged students achieve their goal of going to college and developing professional experience through internships and experiential learning opportunities.

Who We Are

Aduna’s leadership team brings together a passionate group of educators, along with seasoned non-profit executives.  Our community includes educators, parents, high school, college and graduate school volunteers, poised to make a difference in the daily lives as well as the work and school experiences of teenagers and young adults.

What We Do

Our programs are empowerment spaces designed for four distinct groups: Grades PK-5, 6-8, 9-12 and college students. Centered around a confidence-building arch, our student-centered approach aims at educating, supporting and motivating students as well as instilling anti-racism and strengthening the bonds between classmates.

How We Impact

Our programs not only help foster a sense of identity in students of African descent, they also promote cultural understanding, and enhance overall educational outcomes. Our impact grows every day. With every event,  every workshop, every seminar, we strive to motivate our 60+ volunteers, our 999+ readers and learners, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for our participants, not only in their matriculation to great universities, but also in their core belief system.

Mission

Our mission is to educate, support and empower our participants, thanks to our books, coaching programs and events. We draw inspiration from a blended mix of modern psychology as well as ancient wisdom and spirituality.

Vision

Our vision is that with the power of association and the fundamental tools of Personal Development taught in our programs, every student who applies our principles will be empowered to transform their lives and achieve their dreams.

Values

Our values, from the unique angle that they are conveyed in the Aduna Program, are a system of ten principles, including: Honor & Dignity, Community, Knowledge of Self,  Integrity, Courage, Hard Word & Discipline, Creativity and Faith.
